What is the Fort Leonard Wood Community Spouses Club?
The Fort Wood Community Spouses Club (FWCSC) is an ALL ranks spouses club. The purpose of the Club is to promote opportunities for its members to join in social, cultural, educational, and creative pursuits within the community. Club membership is open to ALL spouses and surviving spouses of Armed Forces personnel: Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Retired Military, and active or retired DA civilians. We also have an Associate membership for persons not eligible for regular membership may apply to the Governing Board for approval based on membership percentage, in accordance with FWCSC by-laws.
Our vision is to establish and maintain community and post friendships, raise funds for welfare and scholarship purposes and honor our military traditions.
The FWCSC will allow you to connect with a spirited and committed phenomenal group of people who share a common vision and goal. While building long-lasting friendships our members also discover countless opportunities to volunteer and support our amazing community. FWCSC will host three major fundraising events: the Annual Holiday Antiques & Craft Fair, Basket Auction and Wild West Night. These events will provide funds for scholarships and assistance to deserving individuals and organizations in the post and local communities.
Our monthly luncheons offer an opportunity to volunteer, enjoy fellowship, and to have fun. Our members find the luncheons thrilling, energetic and entertaining. We want to inspire our members while giving endlessly to the FWCSC vision.
Come join us today, be part of a FUN, active and rewarding organization!
